Convoy s2+ - Biscotti firmware -- branding the cows

I don't want to make some ugly mark on the outside of the lights, so what I am doing is to file N notches just inside the head of the light. This is invisible from the outside, permanent, and simple. I use a needle file from a set I have.

I find that 13 inches (12-14) of super thin para-cord makes a great lanyard. This makes a loop about 5 inches long.
