Sun 3/80 - Floppy disk

The Sun 3/80 is unique in having a floppy disk interface. The board has the usual connector for a 34 pin ribbon cable. (As seen above on the right.)
The board has an Intel N82072 floppy controller chip nearby.

It seems very unlikely that I will have anything to do with this interface, unless there is some way to control individual pins in GPIO fashion. But I coubt that this is possible.
